“Taking it all off for a good cause!”
That was the idea behind ‘Never Been Kissed,’ an auction fashion show for kids from Cambodia with cleft lip. The show was held at The Frist Center for Visual Arts and produced by Mane-Event Productions President, Robert E. Degraw. The show raised over 10,000 dollars auctioning off garments from designers- Vera Wang, Manuel and several other designers including a few local designers.
NFG presented six local designers, many of whom were presented to the public for the first time to a crowd of 400 at the Global Cafe. The show was the launch of exposing local talent within the fashion industry. More to come for 2007!
